Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Knowledge Management specialist within our Supply Chain team to govern documentation, training, and competency management. You will ensure information is accurate, accessible, and consistently managed across teams, building capability and confidence across the business.

You will partner with subject matter experts and Learning teams to develop procedures and governance frameworks, identify knowledge gaps, and deliver reporting that helps leaders strengthen team

Qualifications

• Experience in documentation, training, or knowledge management, ideally within a Supply Chain environment.
• Proven ability to develop document management systems, training programmes, and governance frameworks that support operational excellence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted relationships.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage risk in a practical and proactive way.
• A tertiary qualification is desirable. NZPICS CPIM and/or Lean Six Sigma qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain documentation, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and consistently managed across teams.
• Partner with subject matter experts and Learning teams to develop technical procedures, operational training programmes, and competency frameworks that build capability across Supply Chain.
• Identify knowledge gaps, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide reporting and insights that help leaders strengthen team capability and performance.
• Build strong relationships across the business to champion knowledge sharing, support change, and embed best practice documentation and training standards.
