Job summary

New World Three Parks Wanaka in Wanaka, NZ is seeking an Inwards Goods Assistant to join our fast-paced team. You’ll be responsible for receiving, processing, and storing stock, keeping food safety and health and safety standards high.

If you are reliable, enjoy early starts, and can lift 20kg+, this role offers 40+ hours per week on a 5-day roster with pay of 27–29 NZD per hour. Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.

Qualifications

• NZ citizens, permanent residents, or valid NZ work visa required
• Early starts and reliability essential
• Physically fit with ability to lift 20 kg+
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and receipting goods accurately
• Scan and check stock using picklists and devices
• Operate forklifts safely (training provided if needed)
• Communicate with suppliers and managers to resolve stock discrepancies

• Rotate stock, date check, and minimise wastage

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Inwards Goods Assistant to join our team in New World Three Parks in Wanaka.

About the Role

As part of our Inwards Goods, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that stock is received, processed, and stored correctly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with department managers to ensure stock availability and maintain high standards in both food safety and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and receipting goods accurately
• Scanning and checking off stock using picklists and devices
• Operating forklifts safely (training provided if needed)
• Communicating with suppliers and managers to resolve stock discrepancies
• Always following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Rotating stock, date checking, and minimising wastage

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual, and enjoys early morning starts
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Is physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting (20kg+)
• Has strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
• Holds a forklift licence (an advantage, but not essential)
• Has previous experience in a similar role (an advantage)
• Is safety-conscious and takes pride in maintaining high standards

Hours of Work

40+ hours / week, working 5 days over 7-day roster.

Pay Rate: $27 to $29 per hour.
