Job summary

Kinross Cellar Door in Central Otago is seeking Wine Ambassadors to share passion for wine, guide guests through our range, host tastings, and deliver a high level of service.

Requirements include WSET Level 2 or equivalent, excellent customer service and a warm, professional manner; position is full-time temporary for at least 1 year near Gibbston. NZ visa/work rights required; transport may be needed as vineyards are outside town.

Qualifications

• WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine knowledge is required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a warm, professional manner.
• Must have right to work in NZ and provide visa type/expiry details.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through the wine range and host tastings.
• Deliver memorable wine experiences and recommend wines with confidence.
• Support Kinross's reputation as a premier Central Otago wine destination.

We are looking for wine lovers to be our summer Wine Ambassadors. You'll share your passion for wine with guests, tell the story of what makes Central Otago truly special, and help create memorable wine experiences.

You'll guide guests through our wine range, host informal tastings, recommend wines with confidence, and deliver a level of service that reflects our reputation as a destination wine experience.
