Job summary

Advanced Personnel Services Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Traffic Workers and Operators for casual assignments across Auckland this summer season. You’ll help manage traffic flow on construction sites, operate control equipment, and maintain safety standards while supporting major infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's licence and are willing to undertake Traffic Management training. Flexible shifts, safety training, and a supportive team make this role well suited to

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management or construction site work preferred.
• Knowledge of NZ health and safety regulations.
• Willingness to undertake training and Traffic Management qualifications.
• Strong communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Managing and directing traffic flow on construction sites and roadworks to ensure public safety and project efficiency
• Operating traffic control equipment and signalling systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Setting up, monitoring and maintaining traffic control devices including cones, barriers, and signage
• Communicating effectively with site management, contractors and the public regarding traffic procedures
• Conducting regular safety checks on all traffic management equipment and reporting any defects
• Adhering to health and safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment
• Responding promptly to changing site conditions and traffic patterns
• Maintaining detailed records of daily activities and incidents as required
