Job summary

Canstaff seeks a qualified STMS or a beginner eager to learn traffic control in the Hawke's Bay region. You’ll work in temporary traffic management to keep the public, contractors and teammates safe.

You will ensure traffic management plans are followed and assist with setting up and packing down road closures and diversions. Our client values safety, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Flexible with shifts including weekends, evenings or nights.
• Strong safety focus and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
• Must have a full driver’s license; Class 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure temporary traffic management plans are followed correctly.
• Assist with setting up and packing down road closures and diversions.
