Placements24 is seeking a Substation Design Engineer in Queenstown to lead electrical substation design for HV/MV systems, including single-line diagrams and protection schemes.

You will develop layouts, specify equipment, coordinate with civil/structural teams, ensure compliance with SANS, IEC, IEEE, and support construction and commissioning.

The ideal candidate has a 6+ year track record, a BEng in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with ETAP/PSS/E/AutoCAD Electrical.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of substation design experience.
• Experience with HV/MV substations and protection principles.
• Familiarity with IEC/SANS/IEEE standards.

Key Responsibilities
