Brian Perry Civil is seeking a Submissions Manager to lead end-to-end bid development for major infrastructure projects across the Southern Region. You will coordinate bid writers, designers and technical teams to deliver compelling, on-time proposals that win work.

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven Submissions Manager to lead the end-to-end development of high-quality, competitive bids for major infrastructure projects across the Southern Region. This role is central to how we win work combining leadership, collaboration, and a sharp eye for compelling storytelling.

  • Lead and manage the development of submissions for priority projects
  • Coordinate bid writers, designers, and technical teams to meet deadlines
  • Shape value propositions and differentiators that speak to client needs
  • Drive continuous improvement in submissions quality and process
  • Maintain and evolve our submissions knowledge base and content library
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class proposals
What You’ll Bring
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in either Communications, Business Management, or Project Management
  • At least 5 years’ experience in tender submissions, project coordination, bid writing, procurement, tendering roles or similar
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills across diverse audiences
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure and tight timeframes
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on client needs and competitive positioning
  • High-level planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
