We are seeking an experienced Submissions professional to join our high-performing team of writers and designers. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of compelling, customer-focused submissions that showcase Downer’s capability, support our growth strategy, and help secure some of New Zealand’s most significant transport and infrastructure projects. Working with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business, you’ll understand client requirements, procurement models and evaluation criteria, and be able to translate these into compelling win strategies and high-scoring submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce engaging, persuasive, and high-scoring written content that supports business growth and project success.
• Manage complex tender submissions, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met from planning and content development through to final submission.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the business to influence outcomes and support successful bids.

We are open to candidates based in Auckland, Christchurch, Tauranga, or Wellington, as this role can be performed from any of these locations.
