Job summary

University of Canterbury in Christchurch seeks a sales-focused international recruitment professional to manage a portfolio of prospective students from first contact through to enrolment. You will convert inquiries and offers into placements, guiding applicants with academic advice and tailored communications.

Reporting to Future Students – International, you will travel to international events and partner institutions, building relationships with agents, schools and faculties to meet ambitious

Qualifications

• Essential sales experience with targets, pipeline, and closing deals.
• International student recruitment or education sales experience.
• Converting enquiries, applications and offers into accepted enrolments.
• Account management and stakeholder engagement with agents, schools and partners.
• Providing tailored presentations and advice to diverse audiences.
• Using CRM systems to manage leads, plan activity and report on pipeline.
• Interpreting data/market feedback to improve recruitment activity.
• Working within admission requirements and policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver recruitment and conversion activity to meet targets and convert inquiries into enrolments.
• Manage a portfolio and sales pipeline with proactive follow-up and closing.
• Build trusted relationships with future students, families and partners.
• Plan events, campaigns and communications for international audiences.
• Provide accurate information on UC programmes and entry requirements.
• Travel as needed to recruitment activities and events.
