Job summary

University of Canterbury is seeking a proactive Future Student Advisor to develop recruitment activities, deliver engaging presentations, and build strong relationships with prospective students and schools. Based in Auckland with domestic travel, you will drive outcomes across markets, using CRM data to optimise strategies and partnering with faculties to showcase UC’s value.

You will work in a collaborative Future Students team, contributing to UC’s reputation as a premier study destination

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, conversion, account management or related relationship-focused environment.
• Experience in tertiary or secondary education is desirable.
• Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment and engagement with future students across allocated markets and schools.
• Plan and deliver presentations, school visits, and recruitment events.
• Maintain relationships with students, parents and schools to convert interest into applications and enrolments.
• Use data, market trends and CRM insights to refine recruitment strategies.
• Collaborate with faculties and service areas to present UC accurately and proudly across regions.
