Job summary

Long Bay College is seeking a proactive Student Centre and Pastoral Administration Coordinator to join our Student Services team on the North Shore of Auckland. This role focuses on student wellbeing, attendance, pastoral care and operational systems within the Student Centre.

You will coordinate daily operations, manage sign-in/out, and support Deans and Senior Leaders with student services administration while delivering high-quality service to students and whānau.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Comfort with databases and digital systems is required.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Student Centre.
• Manage student sign-in and sign-out processes.
• Administer pastoral and attendance records and reporting.
• Oversee uniform pass and compliance administration.
• Handle mobile phone and confiscated property processes.
• Run detention administration and related processes.
• Maintain student information and records.
• Produce attendance and engagement reports for Deans and Senior Leaders.
• Provide high-quality service to students and whānau.
