Babcock Australasia seeks a Procurement Specialist in Auckland to join the Strategic Sourcing team on a 9-month fixed-term contract commencing January. The role focuses on RFx leadership, supplier negotiations, and category strategies across a regulated defence environment.

You’ll manage complex supplier relationships, support contract and category management, and work with ERP systems like IFS to deliver value and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic procurement/category management in regulated environments.
• Ability to run RFx end-to-end processes.
• Proficiency with cost modelling (TCO/should-cost).
• NV1 security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain.
