Job summary

Auckland Transport in New Zealand is seeking a Safety Business Partner/Safety Advisor reporting to the Safety Lead - Service Delivery. You will work with operations teams to translate the safety strategy into practical actions and ensure safe, compliant delivery across services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years in a health and safety specialist role within complex operations; experience in the construction sector is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
• 8–10 years' experience in a specialist health and safety role across operational activities.
• Experience in the Construction industry would be desirable.
• Experience as a Safety Advisor is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate health and safety practices across operational activities.
• Coach and mentor leaders to respond to changing needs, challenges and priorities.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to align safety strategy with business needs.
