Maritime NZ is seeking a Chief Advisor Health and Safety to lead our internal health and safety strategy and programmes. You will influence executive decision-making, advise the Chief Executive and Board, and promote a positive safety culture across a complex, multisite organisation in New Zealand.

You will drive strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with the CE Office and wider leadership to translate strategy into resilient safety outcomes.

Competenze

• Significant experience providing strategic health and safety leadership in a complex organisation
• Proven ability to advise Chief Executives, Boards and executive teams with evidence-based recommendations
• Experience embedding health and safety strategies and programs that improve performance and culture

Mansioni

• Lead development and continuous improvement of internal health and safety strategy, frameworks and programmes
• Advise the Chief Executive and executive leadership team on health and safety governance and performance
• Collaborate with Deputy Chief Executive and Board to ensure alignment with organisational strategy and risk management
