Job summary

Ministry of Justice - New Zealand is seeking an experienced Strategic People Experience Business Partner to work with Deputy Secretaries and senior leadership to shape workforce strategy and develop high-performing organisations.

You’ll translate strategic priorities into practical people solutions, using data and insight to influence decisions and address future workforce challenges, while collaborating with PX specialists and enabling functions to deliver meaningful outcomes for our people.

Strategic People Experience Business Partner

If you\'re an experienced HR Business Partner who enjoys working alongside senior leaders to solve complex organisational challenges, influence strategic direction, and help build high-performing organisations, we\'d love to hear from you.

This is an opportunity to step beyond operational HR and partner directly with Deputy Secretaries and senior leadership teams to shape workforce strategy, strengthen leadership capability, and enable organisational success.

Te Haeata | The Opportunity

As a Strategic People Experience Business Partner, you\'ll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping them deliver the Ministry\'s strategic priorities through their people.

You will develop a deep understanding of your business group\'s strategic direction and operating environment, translating business priorities into practical people strategies that strengthen organisational performance.

You will partner with leaders on strategic workforce planning, leadership, organisational capability, culture, talent and organisational change, using data and insight to influence decisions and address future workforce challenges.

This is a highly collaborative role where you\'ll work alongside senior leaders, People Experience specialists and other enabling functions to solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes for our people.

The appointing salary for this role is between $112,766 and $145,388, depending on skills and experience.
