Job summary

Suntory Oceania in Auckland, at the Wiri site, seeks an experienced Material Planner to ensure timely supply of raw materials to production lines. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet production targets and drive efficiency.

The role requires FMCG experience, SAP APO familiarity, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site parking and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG environment is preferred.
• Proficient with SAP/APO systems and Excel for data analysis.
• Strong collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing: Work with external suppliers to acquire raw materials to meet production plans.
• Supplier Coordination: Interface with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• New Product Development: Manage the run-in and run-out of materials.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders to enhance efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Focus on process improvement and best practice methods.
• Material Planning Pro: Extensive experience with planning for short shelf-life materials.
• FMCG Guru: Experience in fast-moving consumer goods or a similar environment.
• SAP Savvy: Familiar with SAP/APO systems.
• Excel Enthusiast: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Data Dynamo: Comfortable analysing large data sets and turning them into actionable insights.
• Solution minded: Ability to solve problems on the go, with a keen eye for process improvement.
