Job summary

Danone Auckland is seeking a Production Scheduler to join the Supply Chain team. This permanent role involves developing short-term production schedules, coordinating materials, and maintaining production orders to meet customer demand while optimising inventory and plant capacity.

Reporting to the Auckland Planning Manager, you will drive weekly planning meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain, operations, business or related field.
• 2+ years in SCM, production planning or scheduling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, ideally SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage short-term production schedules (0–4 weeks).
• Lead weekly production planning meetings and communicate changes.
• Create, manage and close production orders in SAP.
• Monitor capacity and optimise line utilisation.
• Coordinate material availability with Materials Planning.
• Manage packaging purchase orders and inventory levels.
• Ensure batch allocations and recipe validations are completed.
• Maintain accurate production-related master data.
• Coordinate product rework requirements and communicate impacts.
• Support daily production meetings with updates and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and cross-functional communication.
