Job summary

New Zealand Transport Agency is seeking a governance professional to lead end-to-end planning and coordination of Board and Committee activity. You will maintain governance systems and records, coordinate calendars and agendas, and help produce timely, high-quality board papers.

You will work with senior leaders across NZTA to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement and deliver smarter governance processes in a large public sector organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating governance work programmes.
• Understanding of governance processes, board requirements and compliance obligations.
• Experience preparing and coordinating high-quality board documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and coordination of Board and Committee activity.
• Maintain governance systems, frameworks and records.
• Coordinate Board calendars and agendas and produce timely board papers.
• Collaborate across the organisation to ensure governance standards are met and continuously improved.
