Job summary

Allied Medical Limited, Albany, Auckland, seeks a Financial Accountant to support daily financial operations, prepare management accounts, and oversee payroll in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the Finance Manager, ensure statutory compliance, and deliver accurate financial analysis to inform business decisions. The role is office-based at our Rosedale site with strong attention to deadlines and detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience in a commercial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• High-level proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Exo preferred).
• Experience in preparing financial statements and management accounts.
• Familiarity with NZ tax regulations and GST/PAYE returns.
• Payroll processing experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and month-end close.
