Job summary

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect – Corporate to partner with senior leaders across Commercial & Corporate and People & Safety, shaping future enterprise capabilities and translating strategy into actionable roadmaps.

You will lead up-front architecture thinking, guiding investment decisions with a broad enterprise perspective and establishing strong governance, standards and guardrails.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise or business architecture and strategic advisory roles.
• Strong business capability modelling and enterprise planning experience.
• Ability to translate strategy into clear enterprise direction.
• Experience influencing executives and senior decision-makers.
• Understanding investment planning, governance and org priorities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to simplify complexity and provide actionable advice.
• Collaborative approach across business, architecture, digital and delivery teams.
