Mercury is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape and deliver technology roadmaps and standards. You will be a trusted adviser to senior leaders, guiding architecture for critical programs while mentoring teams across Auckland or Tauranga with occasional site travel.

You will drive strategic thinking, engage stakeholders, and ensure solutions align with the company’s renewable and digital strategy for a sustainable future in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology strategy and architecture across large IT environments.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale architecture initiatives.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and modelling notations.
• Solid understanding of software design and data modelling.
• Ability to translate business strategy into practical roadmaps.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and promote Mercury’s technology roadmaps, reference architectures and patterns.
• Shape strategy with senior leaders and translate it into actionable models.
• Partner with programme managers to ensure aligned, secure solutions.
• Guide governance, risk, policy and regulatory compliance for platforms.
• Mentor architects and engineers, and stay current with industry trends.
• Support architecture communities of practice and cross-functional teams.
