Job summary

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is seeking an Employment Relations Advisor to provide expert advice and support across a broad range of employment matters within a large, diverse organisation at AUT’s city campus.

You will build trusted relationships, navigate investigations and collective bargaining, and contribute to policy development while advancing your employment relations expertise.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience supporting employment relations matters in a complex environment.
• Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and employment relations principles.
• Experience supporting investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, dispute resolution or mediation activities.
• Strong communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent analytical, research and report-writing capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with high accuracy and professionalism.
