Job summary

Eastern Institute of Technology is seeking a Strategy Delivery Lead in Hawke’s Bay to establish practical project and programme management frameworks that align with our strategic plan. You’ll build governance and reporting mechanisms, ensuring clarity, visibility and accountability across initiatives.

You’ll work with senior leaders to connect dependencies, prioritise work, and support delivery with practical tools and guidance, embedding consistent ways of working across EIT.

Qualifications

• Proven experience establishing project or programme management frameworks and overseeing complex portfolios of work.
• The confidence and credibility to work alongside senior leaders, influence decisions and have constructive conversations.
• A practical approach to governance, planning and reporting - creating discipline without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Strong business case development, prioritisation, risk management and reporting skills.
• A collaborative, coaching mindset and a genuine interest in building organisational capability.

Responsibilities

• Establish a consistent approach to project and programme management across EIT.
• Develop tools, governance and reporting to help leaders make informed decisions and track progress.
• Connect the dots across projects, identify dependencies and report to the Chief Executive, ELT and Council.
• Embed consistent ways of working and build practical solutions in a evolving environment.
