Job summary

Enlite Partners seeks a data-focused engineer to build scalable ETL pipelines and reliable data models for clients in New Zealand and globally. You will work across data engineering, analytics modelling, automation and light visualisation to deliver outcomes that matter.

You’ll drive data quality, build dashboards with Power BI, and translate technical outputs into decision-ready insights while collaborating with strategy and finance teams. Hybrid, with on-site collaboration preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience building ETL or ELT pipelines and automated workflows.
• Strong capability in SQL, data modelling and data preparation.
• Experience with Power BI, DAX, Python, APIs, dbt or cloud data platforms.
• A disciplined approach to data quality, documentation and performance optimisation.
• Curiosity about the business context and the purpose behind the analysis.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working in a small, high-trust team where you own outcomes end to end.

The Role

You’ll work across data engineering, analytics modelling, automation and light visualisation to develop reliable, scalable solutions for clients in New Zealand and internationally.

Your role will extend beyond preparing data or building reports. You’ll seek to understand the question behind each request, challenge assumptions where appropriate and ensure the technical solution supports a meaningful business outcome.
