Job summary

Veolia Australia and New Zealand based in Wellington, NZ, seeks a Commercial Manager to deliver strategic and operational commercial leadership for the Wellington Contract with Tiaki Wai. You will oversee commercial strategy, contract governance, payment mechanisms and stakeholder relations to ensure profitable contract delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in commercial management within infrastructure, utilities, water or construction, with strong negotiation,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial management or related role, with infrastructure / utilities experience highly desirable
• Contract management and commercial law knowledge and experience with complex contractual arrangements
• Substantial experience and knowledge of various payment mechanisms (including lump sum, cost-reimbursable and hybrid models)
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify value and manage risk
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
