Job summary

Suncorp New Zealand is seeking a collaborative Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions, working with stakeholders and project teams to define requirements and support delivery of strategic initiatives.

You will elicit and document requirements, map current and future processes, facilitate workshops, and contribute to testing, change activities and risk management across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a project or transformation environment.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working across multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of agile and/or waterfall delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and discovery sessions.
• Map and evaluate current and future-state business processes.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support solution design, testing, implementation and change activities.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts and delivery teams to achieve project outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality documentation, reports and presentations for stakeholders.
