Tātaki Auckland Unlimited (TAU) is Auckland’s cultural, events and destination agency seeking an Asset Management Lead to drive strategy and continuous improvement across a $1.4B+ portfolio. You will lead data quality, reporting, and forecasting while strengthening governance and resilience.

This is a senior role requiring collaboration with Finance, Facilities, and council partners. Applicants should bring extensive asset management experience, strong analytics, and proven stakeholder

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in asset management, infra planning or related field.
• Experience developing Asset Management Plans and handling data across multiple systems.
• Ability to translate complex data into accessible insights and reports for decision-making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship-building across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic asset management advice and develop Asset Management Plans aligned with priorities and long‑term planning requirements.
• Improve asset information and reporting by integrating data into dashboards and portfolio insights using tools like Power BI.
• Lead the development and maintenance of long‑term financial plans and 30‑year investment forecasts.
• Translate complex asset information into decision‑ready advice for lifecycle planning and investment prioritisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to improve data quality and automate reporting.
• Maintain strong relationships across departments and represent TAU in asset management forums and council alignment.
