Qualifications

• Experienced people leader with asset management knowledge and advisory credibility across a complex organisation.
• Comfortable with technical information, competing priorities and diverse partners.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing people or specialist teams.
• Strong understanding of road assets and asset management planning.
• Experience developing lifecycle plans, forward works programmes or investment planning.
• Advanced asset data literacy and analytical thinking.
• Programme or project management experience coordinating multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of asset management planning specialists.
• Oversee development and improvement of lifecycle management plans and 10-year forward works programmes.
• Align asset management solutions with strategy, funding and value-for-money expectations.
• Strengthen asset management processes, templates, guidance and capability.
• Provide specialist advice across regional teams and external suppliers.
• Build relationships across Asset Management, Maintenance and Operations and partners.
• Undertake horizon scanning and help improve systems for national planning.
