Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Store Person / Loader Operator to join our Mt Maunganui site in New Zealand. This hands-on role loads, unloads and stores bulk products, operates front-end loaders and screeners, and ensures high safety and quality standards across shifts.

The ideal candidate has loader experience, familiarity with stock receipting and MPI processes, and a valid front-end loader licence. A full driver’s licence may be required for vehicle operation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders and site machinery.
• Familiarity with stock receipting, dispatch, and storage practices.
• Comfortable using tablets or computers for record keeping and basic admin.
• Experience with MPI processes is desirable.
• Team-oriented with a strong focus on safety and following procedures.
• Current front-end loader licence (WTR endorsements) is required.
• Full driver's licence if required to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and screeners safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles in line with order requirements and site procedures.
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately, including MPI and site records.
• Maintain store and yard cleanliness and assist with stock rotation and hygiene.
• Carry out pre-start checks, and maintain loaders and equipment according to schedule.
• Adhere to all site, MPI, and health & safety procedures.
• Support a culture of zero harm and strong feed/food safety awareness.
• Work collaboratively within the team and communicate effectively with supervisors.

About therole

As aStore person / Loader Operator, you’ll play a key role in the safeand efficient loading, unloading, and storage of product at the site. You’ll work with loaders, screeners, and other site equipmentwhile maintaining high standards for health and safety, feed andfood quality, and site cleanliness.

Thishands-on operational role is ideal for someone with experience inmachinery operation and bulk product handling, a strong attentionto detail, and a willingness to follow set procedures andcontribute to team success.

This roleincludes participation in a rotational shift schedule, which mayinvolve day, night and weekend shifts. Applicants must be willingand able to work nights on a rotating basis as well as othershifts, in line with the team’s operationalrequirements.
