Job summary

GrainCorp Feeds in Waharoa is seeking a Store Operator on an 8-month fixed term. Core hours are 6am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with extended hours Aug–Feb. You will mix and load bulk blends, operate a front end loader, bag and stack pallets, and handle some office tasks.

Requirements include a current forklift licence with F and W endorsement, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously. Pre-employment medical and working rights checks apply.

Role: Store Operator – 8-month Fixed Term

GrainCorp Feeds is a national animal feed business, based in Hamilton NZ, dealing directly with corporate and farming customers across New Zealand.

GrainCorp Feeds offers a comprehensive range of high-quality liquid and dry dairy and calf feeds suitable for a variety of feeding systems and developed to improve on-farm production, reproduction, performance and profitability.

Based at our Waharoa site, we areseeking a Store Operator on an 8-month fixed term contract to join our small, but close-knitteam.

This is a full-time positionwhere your core hours of work will be between 6am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.During August through to February we work extended hoursto support our customers. These hours are rostered -flexibilitywith working hours is a requirement during this period.

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Mixing and loading Bulk Blends
• Front End Loader Operation
• Bagging and pallet stacking
• Some Office and paperwork
  

About your experience

• The successful candidate will hold a current forklift licence with F and W endorsement and experience working in a warehousing / logistics role. Experience with Front End Loaders preferred but not essential.
• Good communication skills, ability to follow direction, work collaboratively and autonomously is also required.
• You should be capable of lifting up to 20kg in weight and have a solid understandingof safety standards.
