DLF Pickseed in Ashburton is seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our dispatch team. You’ll play a key role in daily dispatch operations, focusing on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience in grain/seed industry is an advantage but not essential
• Able to work independently or in a team

• Experience with reach truck is beneficial

We are one of New Zealand’s leading seed and grain processors and are now seeking a motivated, capable Storeperson to join our Ashburton team in our dispatch area.

As a Storeperson you’ll play a key role in the day to day performance of our dispatch operation with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift and stack pallets
• Prepping the seed for dispatch
• Providing efficient and professional customer service to transport providers and clients
• Maintaining the general tidiness of the store

Skills and Experience:

• A good level of verbal and written communication
• Experience in the grain and seed (or similar) industry would be an advantage but is not essential
• Ability to work without supervision or within a team setting
• Be physically fit to be able to cope with the demands of the role
• Previous experience in reach truck operation would be beneficial
