Job summary

Corys Electrical is seeking a hands-on Storeperson in Otago to support picking, packing, invoicing, and dispatching orders while keeping stock accurate and the yard organized. You’ll load and unload trucks and help maintain inventory in a fast-paced branch.

The role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, a full NZ driver licence, and physical fitness. Forklift experience is a bonus and training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse or storeperson role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, can-do attitude and team-first mindset.
• Ability to work with urgency and juggle multiple tasks.
• Full, valid NZ Driver Licence.
• Good level of physical fitness (this is a hands‑on role).
• Bonus points if you have forklift experience; training available.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking, packing, invoicing, and dispatching customer orders
• Loading and unloading trucks and pallets safely and efficiently
• Processing inwards and outwards goods with attention to detail
• Checking deliveries for damage, discrepancies, and quality issues
• Maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records
• Supporting stocktakes, cycle counts, and stock replenishment
• Keeping the branch and yard clean, safe, and organised
