Job summary

The Roofing Store Albany is seeking a practical, reliable, and customer-focused all-rounder. You will be one of two key team members running the branch, so being dependable, present, and ready to help is essential.

This hands-on role involves customer service, warehouse tasks, and coordinating with our manufacturing team, with ongoing training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or storeperson roles.
• Forklift license is preferred.
• Comfort handling long-length roofing materials is an advantage.
• Good basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day store and warehouse operations.
• Unload roofing products arriving from our manufacturing centre.
• Safely load materials onto customers' trailers, trucks, and other vehicles.
• Assist customers by phone, email, and in person.
• Process orders and coordinate with our manufacturing team.
• Keep the branch organized, clean, and safe.

What You'll Bring

• Warehouse or storeperson experience, preferably in the building industry.
• Experience handling long-length steel, roofing products, or similar materials is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confidence in communicating with customers.
• A practical, reliable attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Administration experience is helpful but not essential; we will provide training.
