Job summary

Tradextra Ltd in Albany is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Assistant & Customer Delivery Driver to support daily warehousing and delivery tasks in the Auckland region. Based in our Albany warehouse, you will pick, pack, dispatch orders, operate a forklift, and provide friendly service to customers during deliveries while upholding safety and accuracy.

This full-time role offers a practical, varied day with up to 50 hours per week between early morning shifts and opportunities to grow with a NZ-owned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, with a positive attitude and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately.

Albany Warehouse Assistant & Customer Delivery Driver

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and dependable Warehouse Assistant & Customer Delivery Driver to join our Albany-based team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and delivering excellent service to customers.

About the Role

Based in our Albany warehouse, you will play an important part in the daily operation of our warehousing and delivery activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods.
• Identifying and reporting damaged or incorrect stock.
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately.
• Replenishing stock and maintaining warehouse organisation.
• Loading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Delivering products to customers across the greater Auckland region.
• Providing professional and friendly customer service during deliveries.
• Operating a forklift safely and responsibly.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
• Assisting with customer enquiries and supporting the wider team as required.

This is a full-time position, working approximately 50 hours per week between 6:30am and 5:30pm.

About You

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• A clean, valid driver's licence.
• Confidence driving a long‑wheelbase manual van.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift up to 25kg and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, delivery driving or trade industry experience will be highly regarded.
