Job summary

At Asmuss, we've built our reputation on providing quality Steel and Flow products along with exceptional service to customers across New Zealand. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Storeperson to join our team and play a key role in our day-to-day operations.

About the Role

This is a varied position combining warehouse duties, customer service, and deliveries.

As an essential member of the team, you'll help keep our operations running smoothly by ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed, and delivered to customers accurately and on time. You'll also provide great customer service and champion safe work practices every day.

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm.

What you'll do

• Deliver goods to our customers located throughout Canterbury
• Receive and check incoming goods, maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes(if qualified)
• Identify, report, and minimise workplace hazards actively contributing to a positive health and safety culture

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse/storeperson experience
• A clean, full New Zealand driver's licence
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a customer-first attitude
• Good computer literacy and administration skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities with accuracy and attention to detail
• A proactive approach to health and safety
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Experience using overhead cranes (desirable)

Experience working in industrial, engineering, or trade environments is advantageous
