Job summary

Advanced Personnel Services – Christchurch, South Island is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join a small, well-established manufacturing business producing specialised bends and connectors for large plastic piping.

You will handle daily stock movements, receive goods, manage stock, pick and pack orders, load and unload deliveries, operate a forklift, and assist the fabrication team on the factory floor in a practical, busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse or similar role.
• A current forklift licence.
• Good stock handling, picking and packing experience.
• The physical fitness and strength required to safely handle large and sometimes heavy products.
• Good attention to detail, particularly when preparing orders for dispatch.
• A practical attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work well as part of a small team.

Advanced Personnel Services – Christchurch, South Island

We are looking for an experienced Storepersonto join a small, well-established manufacturing business producing specialised bends and connectors for large plastic piping.

The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit team of around 10 to 12 people. It is a practical, busy environment where everyone gets stuck in and helps where needed.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day movement of stock and orders, including:

• Receiving and checking inward goods
• Organising and managing stock
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Preparing orders accurately for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Operating a forklift
• General warehouse and yard duties
• Keeping work areas organised, safe and tidy
• Assisting the fabrication team on the factory floor when required

This isn't a role where you'll spend the whole day sitting in a storeroom. The products can be large and bulky, and when the factory is busy, you'll be expected to roll up your sleeves and help the wider team.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:
