Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd in Auckland is seeking a Store Receiver to oversee the receiving and dispatching functions. You will manage administration and direct receiving assistants to ensure merchandise moves smoothly to the trading floor and orders are dispatched on time.

Candidate will liaise with the management team, distribution centre and store colleagues daily, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

Want a behind the scenes role where you can really get things moving?

Varied, High Impact Role -Large, Dynamic Retailer Farmers is New Zealand's largest department store. We sell a variety of items in large quantities. Not surprisingly, to keep our stores well stocked, we need an expert Store Receiverto oversee the receiving and dispatching functions.

In this role, you will be responsible forall administration functions, implementing and maintaining all receiving processes and providing direction to our receiving assistants. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring all merchandise reaches our trading floor as smoothly and quickly as possible, and that orders are dispatched to customer's on-time. Although this is a "behind the scenes role", it is a pivotal one, where you'll liaise with the management team, distribution centre, and team members on a daily basis.

To excel in this role you'll have:

• Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving large amounts of stock on a daily basis

You’ll be able to work independently, stay calm under pressure and take initiative in order to really get things moving!

The is a Full Time position and involves working Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm & Friday 7am - 2.30pm, with the occasional weekend shift when required.
