Advance Agriculture – Balclutha, South Island
Based at our Balclutha branch, the Store Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring customers receive friendly, reliable service and the right products are available when they need them. You will manage stock, support the wider sales and technical team, coordinate orders and suppliers, and maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient store environment.
Oversee the daily operations of the Balclutha store.
Provide excellent customer service to farmers, growers, contractors, and rural clients.
Manage stock levels, product ordering, and store presentation.
Source products and parts efficiently when specific customer requirements arise.
Work closely with technical field representatives and other Advance Agriculture stores.
Maintain accurate records and support invoicing, dispatch, and administration processes.
Assist with mixing of seed.
Promote a strong health and safety culture across store operations.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to manage stock, orders, and competing priorities.
Physically fit to be able to assist with seed mixing.
A practical understanding of farming, agricultural products, spray equipment, seed, or rural supplies would be beneficial.
Confidence using computer systems and handling basic administration.
A current driver license; forklift experience or endorsement would be beneficial.
A positive, team-focused attitude and pride in doing the job well.
