Catalyst Performance Agronomy in North Otago, Oamaru, is hiring a Store & Logistics Support person for a Monday–Friday role, with occasional Saturdays. The position offers entry-level training and a chance to grow in the agriculture industry.

You’ll support deliveries, warehouse tasks, and collaborate with agronomists while learning the broader business. A driver’s licence is essential; forklift is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse duties and follow health and safety practices.

Every day, the team at Catalyst Performance Agronomy work closely with farmers and farm managers to grow crops that deliver great results. We're side by side with them in the field delivering tailored agronomy advice on the correct seed variety, planting methods, fertilisers, and chemical controls.

We have a vacancy for a full‑time Store & Logistics Support person to join our North Otago team, based in Oamaru. The position is Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.00pm, with the occasional Saturday shift.

This is an entry level support role, ideal for someone looking to get a foot in the door of the agriculture industry. You don't need years of experience – just a good work ethic, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn. An interest in agriculture is a bonus, but not essential.

What you'll be doing:

• On-farm deliveries: Support the team with deliveries across North Otago, safely and efficiently, recording proof of delivery and coordinating with managers as needed.
• Assisting the Store Manager: Help with day-to-day store operations, including inwards and outwards goods, picking and packing orders, and stocktakes.
• Working with Agronomists: Work alongside our agronomists, gaining exposure to and building an understanding of the wider agronomy business.
• General support: Assist with general warehouse duties and follow health and safety practices to ensure smooth operations.

What we are looking for:

• A current, full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2 an advantage, but not essential)
• Forklift licence preferred, but not essential
• A positive, "get it done" attitude and willingness to learn
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• No prior warehouse or logistics experience necessary as training will be provided
