Job summary

Om shiv Hari Limited seeks a motivated Store Manager to lead our Kaitaia Farnorth team, oversee daily operations, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience for customers.

This full-time, permanent role offers minimum 30 hours per week with an hourly wage of $25 to $35. You will supervise staff, manage rosters, monitor stock, and drive sales while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in retail management or level 4 qualification.
• Strong leadership and people skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience with inventory control and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the retail store.
• Supervise, train, and motivate staff.
• Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.

• Ensure products are displayed attractively and shelves are well stocked.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures.
• Oversee cash handling, banking, and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Monitor store expenses and assist in achieving financial targets.
• Maintain accurate inventory and sales records.
• Implement promotional activities and merchandising plans.
• Ensure the store is clean, secure, and well maintained at all times.
