Job summary

Kennards Self Storage is seeking a Storage Centre Manager for our Auckland CBD facility. You will lead daily operations, drive sales, manage customer interactions and ensure high security and maintenance standards.

The role combines customer service, supervision and financial administration, with responsibility for budgets and reporting. A proactive, independent leader will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations and taking ownership of outcomes.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and use business management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Auckland CBD storage facility.
• Manage customer enquiries and convert into storage customers.
• Oversee rental accounts, payments, refunds and financial reporting.
• Maintain security, records, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and contractor work as required.
• Support sales of ancillary products and stock control.
• Lead and develop centre team with the Assistant Manager.
