Job summary

Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty in Auckland is seeking a hands-on inventory assistant for our Small Appliance department on a fixed-term, part-time basis. You will help keep stock accurate, priced correctly and readily available for customers.

You’ll join a supportive team and gain practical experience in a busy retail environment, learning from experienced colleagues while contributing to smooth store operations and exceptional customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high volumes of stock.
• Retail experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

About the Role:

This is a hands‑on operational role focused on inventory management, stock control, and supporting the Small Appliance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all aspects of inventory control, stock security and stock movements
• Ensure stock is receipted, priced and ticketed accurately
• Liaise with suppliers and repair agents regarding faulty stock
• Coordinate courier pickups and customer deliveries
• Support general store operations and team needs
