Job summary

Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty in Christchurch is seeking a full-time warehouse team member at Northwood. You will support daily operations, handle stock, assist with customer pickups, and ensure safe, efficient processing of goods.

We value reliability, a strong work ethic and a focus on safety and service. Prior warehouse or customer service experience is desirable, along with a full NZ driver licence.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Basic computer skills with good communication abilities.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to follow processes and work as part of a team.
• Previous warehouse or customer service experience, desirable.
• Full NZ Driver Licence, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and move stock efficiently, including completing required paperwork
• Assist customers collecting goods and respond to phone enquiries
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, including supporting customer pick-ups
• Operate warehouse equipment and assist with stock movements, including shuttle truck driving if required
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including manual handling and working at heights
• Assist with stocktake preparation and completion

Looking to build your career in warehousing? Join our Northwood warehouse team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting store operations and delivering great customer service.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on warehouse role where you'll support daily operations including stock handling, customer pickups, and deliveries. You’ll ensure goods are processed efficiently while maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and move stock efficiently, including completing required paperwork
• Assist customers collecting goods and respond to phone enquiries
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, including supporting customer pick-ups
