Job summary

Respect Together in Pennsylvania seeks a Prevention & Outreach Specialist to support statewide sexual violence prevention through training, technical assistance, outreach, and resource development for rape crisis centers and prevention educators.

The role emphasizes collaboration, development of practical tools, and learning opportunities to strengthen evidence-informed, community-centered approaches to preventing sexual abuse, assault, and harassment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in human services, criminal justice, or liberal arts with related concentration, and at least two years related experience and/or training.
Ability to travel statewide, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.
Strong writing, editing, presentation, and training facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Provide training and technical assistance to prevention educators, rape crisis centers, and allied professionals.
Build collaborative relationships with coalition staff, local centers, and NSVRC to strengthen statewide prevention efforts.
Develop, update, and disseminate prevention tools, educational materials, newsletters, and outreach resources.
Coordinate statewide prevention meetings, trainings, webinars, and other learning opportunities.
Monitor trends and emerging needs to inform prevention programming and technical assistance.
