Job summary

Stop is seeking a Specialist Clinician to provide evidence-based assessment and tailored therapy for adults with harmful sexual behaviour within the Adult Service. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough clinical records.

We value strong clinical reasoning, cultural responsiveness, and a commitment to learning within a specialist practice area.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in psychology, counselling, social work, or related mental health discipline; current registration or ability to work toward (NZ Psychologists Board, NZAC, SWRB).
• Demonstrated experience working with adults in a clinical setting.
• Expertise in evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT) and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic assessment and intervention for adults referred for harmful sexual behaviour.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed clinical records in line with policies and procedures.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of the Adult Service.
