Job summary

Respect Together seeks an experienced Training and Technical Assistance Specialist to support centers responding to survivors of sexual abuse, harassment, and assault. The role leads the development and review of training materials, including e-learning, and delivers synchronous and asynchronous trainings to counselors and allied professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, nursing or education with 3–4 years related experience.
• 3–5 years direct service work with survivors of sexual abuse, assault or harassment.
• Experience with a rape crisis center and/or behavioral health settings.
• Strong writing, editing, public speaking and communication skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning techniques and program evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on sexual violence issues to rape crisis counselors, therapists, and pros.
• Identify and create resource materials for survivors and advocacy issues.
• Lead updates to counselor training materials including e-learning components.
• Deliver trainings to advocates and professionals on best practices.
• Review trainings syllabus and monitor materials for accuracy.
• Work with grants/contracts teams on content; support communications with partners.
• Serve on internal committees and connect with direct service providers.
• Act as liaison to PCAR partners and train centers on case notes and casefiles.
