Coyle Homecare is seeking a Female Support Worker / Complex Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care at a client’s home in Marlborough. You will deliver daily routines, assist with personal care, and support the client with activities and outings.

The role requires experience in complex care, spinal cord injury, and tracheostomy care, with a caring, reliable, and professional approach. Shifts include day and waking night hours, with pets in the home.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to a lady with spinal cord injury and a tracheostomy at home.

  • Work 2:1 day shifts and 1:1 waking night shifts as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Female Support Worker / Complex Care Assistant with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care to a lady with a spinal cord injury and a tracheostomy in her own home.
  • Support with daily routines and personal care.
  • Assist with community outings and activities the client enjoys, including taking her dogs for walks.
  • Deliver safe and effective care whilst promoting independence.
  • Work as part of a team to provide 2:1 support during day shifts and 1:1 support during waking night shifts.
  • Support with medication administration and complex clinical care in line with care plans.
Key Job Requirements:

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Female.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience in complex care.
  • Confident supporting clients with spinal cord injuries.
  • Experience managing autonomic dysreflexia.
  • Experience providing tracheostomy care.
  • Experience providing suprapubic catheter care.
  • Experience with medication administration.
  • Comfortable working in a home with pets.
  • Caring, reliable, professional, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for delivering person-centred care.
