Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Therapy or equivalent.
• Specialist knowledge of speech-language development and learning.
• Ability to translate specialist knowledge into practical information.
• Ability to coordinate service provision in a multi-agency, trans-disciplinary setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address children and young people’s communication needs in home, education setting and community.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers and other specialists to support speech, language and communication development.
