Rocket Lab in Auckland is seeking a Composite Technician to join the Production team. You will build and assemble components of the Electron rocket, using precision lamination, prepregs, and related processes to meet tight launch schedules.

The role requires 2+ years in a relevant industry or a trade qualification, strong ability to read manufacturing drawings, and comfort working long shifts as part of the evening schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industry experience or trade-qualified in relevant field.
• Precision lamination skills for prepregs.
• Ability to interpret laminate and assembly drawings for quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble Electron rocket components during production.
• Operate tools, equipment and facilities to support testing and launch readiness.
• Contribute to schedule adherence and maintain Rocket Lab’s high-quality standards.
