Job summary

Rocket Lab in Auckland, New Zealand, seeks a hands-on Laminator/Clean Room Technician to build and assemble composite components for Electron rocket parts. You will work with prepregs, tooling prepregs, and autoclave/bagging processes to meet quality and schedule demands.

Experience as composite technician and ability to read laminate/assembly drawings are essential. This role offers the chance to contribute to high‑profile space missions within a tight, fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a composite technician.
• Proficient lamination of prepregs and tooling prepregs.
• Knowledge of bagging for oven and autoclave cures.
• Ability to interpret laminate and assembly drawings.
• Capable of performing measurements in a marine or composite setting.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble Electron rocket composite components.
• Work with tools, equipment and facilities on production lines.
• Maintain high standards of quality and meet production schedules.
• Collaborate with production leadership to ensure on-time delivery.
